1-1 MENTORING

Women’s Bean Project is fortunate to have the services of highly skilled professionals in our community who serve as volunteer mentors to our program participants.

Each volunteer mentors one to two program participants throughout each woman’s employment at the Bean Project.

Mentors meet with each woman weekly and help her deal with life challenges while focusing on a realistic entry-level career choice.

They help participants set realistic goals, develop a plan for job search, prepare a resume and a background explanation letter, as well as teaching interviewing skills through mock interviews.
