CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT WOMEN’S BEAN PROJECT

We’re thrilled that you’re interested in volunteering with Women’s Bean Project! Over 400 volunteers donate their time and talents each year to help support the women we serve, and we’re so grateful for this support.
Stay in the loop about upcoming opportunities by signing up for our volunteer email list.

Individual Volunteer Opportunities

We’re always looking for:

  • Assistance with administrative tasks like data entry and thank-you calls to donors
  • Volunteers to help lead scheduled tours of our facility
  • Table Captains for our annual Ready, Set, Grow fundraising event in April, which we begin recruiting for in January each year.

We have limited availability for:

  • Production-ready opportunities, like working on our production line or assisting with shipping. Volunteering for these opportunities means you’ll have to remove any piercings, nail polish, fake nails, etc. before your shift. For full details, check out our volunteer guidelines and requirements.
  • Job coaching, which is a chance to work one-on-one with program participants. We only have about 10 job coaches at any given time, so there is often a waitlist for these opportunities.

Group Volunteer Opportunities

Groups can help on the production floor, make gift boxes, host mock interview sessions for program participants, or help with other special projects.

For group volunteering on our production floor, we can typically accommodate small groups of 5-10 people maximum. For other opportunities, we may be able to host larger groups depending on capacity.

October – December is our busiest season. We usually begin booking over the summer and are full by September, so reach out early to get your team involved!

Community Service

Community Service volunteers have the opportunity to fulfill their required service hours in many areas of our organization. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, and we will work with you to make sure your community service hours are completed in a timely manner.
