Shipping Policy

Women’s Bean Project makes every effort to process and ship orders as quickly and accurately as possible. While this is our goal, please keep in mind that we operate a transitional employment training business, so errors do occasionally occur. If your order should arrive containing an error or with any damage to your product, please know that we will use it as a teaching moment with the women working in our business. Please contact us immediately with any issues and we will work with you to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

Shipping Lead Times

Our business hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday MST. Orders are processed and shipped daily (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, holiday and inventory closures). All orders ship from our facility in Denver, CO.

Retail Orders: Typically ship within 1-2 business days after processing, and 3-5 days after processing during the holiday season (October-December).

Wholesale Orders: Typically ship 3-5 business days after processing, and 5-8 days after processing during the holiday season (October-December).

Holiday Order Deadlines

Please place your orders by the following dates to receive your orders by Christmas. *

  • Retail Economy (orders with Economy shipping): December 13, 2018
  • Retail Priority (orders with Expedited shipping): December 18, 2018
  • Wholesale: December 10, 2018

* Women’s Bean Project allows for the timing of shipments based on shipping carrier suggested ship dates. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your orders will arrive before Christmas. Once your order leaves our facility it is up to the shipping carrier to deliver the package on time. We do our absolute best to ensure that your orders leave our facility in a timely manner to allow for the increased holiday lead times for the shipping carriers.

WBP 2018 Closures

Orders will not be processed or shipped on:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • December 26th

Shipping Methods

Retail Orders

We offer three flat rate shipping tiers for retail orders based on transit times from our facility in Denver, CO. Retail only tiers:

  1. Economy: $9.00. Receive 5-10 days after shipping from our facility.
  2. Standard: $15.00. Receive 3-5 days from our facility.
  3. Rush: $30.00. Receive 2 days from leaving our facility.

Free shipping: Available on retail orders of $50.00 or more. Receive 5-10 days from leaving our facility. Expedited orders over $50.00 do not qualify for free shipping.

Shipping Carriers: FedEx and USPS.

Wholesale Orders

We offer free Ground or freight shipping on wholesale orders of $650.00 or more. Expedited orders over $650.00 do not qualify for free shipping.

Shipping Carriers: FedEx, USPS and Freight.

PO Boxes

Please provide a physical address instead of a PO Box whenever possible. Shipping charges increase significantly when shipping to a PO Box due to the limited carriers that will accommodate a PO Box delivery. We do not ship wholesale orders to a PO Box.

Incorrect Address

If an order is ‘returned to sender’ due to an incorrect/invalid address, we will contact the customer via the email provided on the order for an updated mailing address.

Once we have the corrected mailing address, we will resend the order at no charge to the customer if the shipping fees do not exceed $30.00. If the shipping charges are greater than $30.00, we will request payment for the additional shipping charges and will not reship the order until these fees are collected.

If we do not receive a reply within 10 business days, the contents of the order will be returned to inventory and no refund will be issued.

International Shipping

We can only ship within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii). We do not ship internationally or to military bases.
