Planned Giving
A planned gift is a unique way for you to support the future work of the Bean Project during your lifetime and beyond. These gifts require a little bit of planning but provide an opportunity to make a real difference in women’s lives. Planned gifts are sometimes referred to as “stop-and-think” gifts because they require some planning and, sometimes, help from your professional advisors. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income, and can come to fruition before or after your death.
Your support makes it possible for us to provide job readiness, life skills and interpersonal skills necessary to break barriers to employment and create stepping to self-sufficiency for women and their families. And when you plan a gift to Women’s Bean Project in your long-term estate or financial plans, you help ensure that we’ll be here, committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and chronic unemployment, for many years to come.
