- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1/2 stick (4 tbsp) melted butter and 2 eggs; beat well by hand.
- Add molasses to the egg & butter mixture; mix.
- Add ginger, cinnamon, & cloves.
- Gradually combine dry brownie mix into wet mixture beating by hand until well blended.
- Fold in the ginger and chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the sides of brownies begin to pull away from the pan. Allow to cool completely in pan on a wire rack, then lightly loosen the sides and cut to desired servings.
